New updated version of the StarWind (iSCSI target) is available for immediate downloading. The brief description of the introduced news and updates is:
New features:
- New plug-in IBVolume that supports snapshots, incremental backup and cloned volumes
- ImageFile, IBVolume and RamDisk plug-ins can be used for MPIO solutions
- Copying of ImageFile devices to new ImageFile online
- Copying of ImageFile devices to new IBVolume images online
- Creation of new ImageFile images from existing IBVolume snapshots

- The Config file format changed to XML
- Inhanced fast creation of ImageFiles
- Fixed bugs with ImageFiles greater than 4GB in size
- Core: iSCSI handshaking bug fixed (IFMarker)
- Fixed bugs in asynchronous command processing
- Shared SPTI devices are available for local users when not used by remote clients
- IBVolume: fixed issues with manual snapshots and synchronization of control requests to a volume
- Fixed few minor bugs with open image dialog
- Added 'Use file system buffering' parameter to ImageFile parameters
- Added 'Share model' parameter to SPTI devivce paremeters
- New icons set makes StarWind look and feel much better
