New version of the product introduces number of improvements and fixes. The most important changes are:
- Windows 2008 Server (Longhorn) clustering (persistent reservations) is supported.
- VMware ESX fully compatible. All of the ESX initiator issues successfully workarounded.
- CHAP values generation optimized.
- Access to the local unclaimed devices is allowed now.
- iSCSI volume cache synchronization sequence added.
- "Switch active mirror" and fast volume synchronization (MD5 checksum calculated) added to the Mirror (RAID1) plug-in.
- Mirror synchronization progress indication added.
- Windows 2000 SP4 support re-enabled.
- Volume data compression and encryption added.
- Target now can force-remove connected initiators.
- Fast image file creation sequence added. No more "delayed write" issues on the first write to the image file.
- Variable disk geometry supported. Now old Solaris initiators and Intel iSCSI boot code assuming fixed disk geometry work.
- Volume status information added to the device properties page.
- Major GUI fixes and a lot of new HOWTO manuals added.
