Got it! You should have access to the files tomorrow (National Holiday today, sorry for this) :)

Hello,

what do you think will be released the full support to delphi 2009 in the sample projects ?

Another thing, in my opinion there is an issue in the method used to load the starburn DLL in Delhpi projects: in fact, the DLL is loaded in "static" mode, and so if the program starts and the DLL is missing, the program crashes ....

In delphi there is a more optimized method to load a DLL dinamically, using the "LoadLibrary" function. So, if the DLL is present, the program can load it, but if the DLL is not present, you can show a message to the users, not a program crash ....
It is not so difficult to make it, do you think you will change this behavior in the DLL wrapper unit ?

Thanks for your attention

1) Delphi 2009 support is done. Contact us if you want to get RC samples. We've created new set of simplified Delphi 2009 samples rather then doing complete port. Does not make sense as it's enormous amount of work and it simply does not make sense.

2) There are reasons why we've implemented static DLL load.

Thanks for your answer.

Ok, I will contact the support for the RC. Hope we can make a complete test with that version, because we must decide if use Starburn SDK in our software and so if purchase it.
We don't need a complete port of Delphi samples, we need only the basic features to make a backup application.

A dynamic load of the DLL would have been great, it's a pity....

Regards

1) Sure!

2) Please drop us a message to info@ or support@rocketdivision.com with a bit more of the details about DLL load we'll check again what could be done here.

Thanks!

OK, the most recent version of StarBurn SDK does have support for Delphi 2009.
