I get the following error trying to burn a certain set of audio files. I have 3 other audio burning apps that have no problem with these files. Can you give me some hint as to what might cause this:

StarBurn_CdvdBurnerGrabber_DiscAtOncePQ[RawPW]FromFile() failed, exception 5, status -1072886833, text 'CStarBurn_StarWaveFile::RealRead(): StarWave_CompressedFileReaderObjectRead( 0x06AB5818, 0x242E0F48, 53476 ) failed, status -1072886833!!!

Please send us complete StarBurn & StarWave logs and not the line you think is expected to say something (it actually does not).

Good. But they don't match the problem you've referenced. Below is COMPLETE StarBurn log and I don't see the line you've quoted in the original post...

I cleared both logs and re-ran the test burn. Attached are the logs.

StarBurn log is incomplete this time as well, but StarWave has references to "no more samples" issue. Please contact us by e-mail we'll issue you with ftp account settings and you'll have to upload these files. We'll check them to find out is it StarWave wrapper buggy or is it WMA files with wrong duration recorded. In the second case we'll also provide workaround inside StarWave core. Thanks!

OK, I'm done with bootable UDF support so have some time to look closer at this issue. Would you please contact us directly (I've also sent you an e-mail) as we need to have WMAs you're burning. Thanks!

From the whole set of the files you've uploaded it's only 3.wma who raises play failure. Bad news for you... It's WMA file who's broken! It reports 5:52 playing time but actual playing time is 5:49 (two second less).
So other burning software I guess puts padding with zeros or truncates play time to actual. I can modify StarWave decoder to accept such a content but my guts says me it's a bad idea to do this...

Thanks for the quick analysis.
I will re-order the content from the label. Hopefully this is an isolated incident. If it does appear to be more widespread I might come back and ask for a modification. We get a lot of garbage and have to turn it into gold. :)

Too late :) I've applied the workaround for StarWave decoder so it does ignore invalid content. So if you'll have broken file you'll have zero-padded tail. You may contact us to have updated version.
