Hi,

apparently it is not possible to erase DVD-RAMs. When trying to do that, I get the following message:

Code:
Wrong disc type:
Unsupported disc type

Also, (STARBURN_DISC_TYPE.STARBURN_DISC_TYPE_ERASABLE & STARBURN_DISC_TYPE.STARBURN_DISC_TYPE_DVD_RAM == 0), is that intentional?

I'm using StarBurnX (2009-08-14).

Please wait for V12 RC. It has this StarBurnX issue sorted out. Also +RW and -RAM erase sequence was re-written in core StarBurn.

Will I get a notification when it's available?

And in the final release it still does not work. Somewhat disappointing actually.

OK, erasing works, but (drive.DiscInfo.DiscType & (int)StarBurnX.STARBURN_DISC_TYPE.STARBURN_DISC_TYPE_ERASABLE) still yields the wrong result.

Hello,

I guess you should update reference on StarBurnX. For the C# application, for example, you should remove old reference on StarBurnX and append the new reference - "Add reference->COM components->StarBurnx 12.0 Type library" ... thus new "interop" library should be generated.

Regards,

Dmitry
