Hi,

I am seeing that the function StarBurn_ISO9660JolietFileTree_ImportTrack() failes fails if there are more than 830+ files to import. Can you let me know if there is any limit in the number?
This is the error message received.
StarBurn_ISO9660JolietFileTree_ImportTrack error, en=5, status=87, text=CStarBurn_ScsiTransportSPTI::ExecuteCDB(): DeviceIoControl() failed, status 87 ( 0x57 )

I am using Starburn version 7.2.

It could happen to the old code when importing content with too many files. To be 100% sure we need StarBurn log. And dont forget to upgrade to V12 as your version is 3+ years old and is not supported any more.

I have used star burn version 10.5 now and still see the same issue that StarBurn_ISO9660JolietFileTree_ImportTrack() failes.Please see the attached star burn log.

Unfortunately log you've sent is incomplete... All I can recommend you to do now - please switch to SPTD instead of SPTI and try again capturing complete log.

Can you let me know pls how to switch to SPTD from SPTI? Is there any setting for that..?

Check FindDeviceExEx sample and extended CreateExEx API call.

I don't need neither V7 nor V10. I've told you to upgrade to the most recent V12.

I have used Starburn V12 evaluation version just for testing prupose and still see the same issue that ImportTrack failes whern there are more 830+ files. Somehow i was not able to capture the starburn logs for this version. Not sure if we can capture starburn logs for evaluation version.

From the last few days of my experience i could say that this issue occuring in all the versions. There could be a potential issue either in my applicatio(most probably:)) or in StarBurn. I would be very glad if you could take a look at the previously attached Starburn log of V10.5 and let me know if you find something wrong.

StarBurn had issues importing 1K+ files in the same directory... This issue was fixed in V12. So I need to V12 logs to re-open this case. I don't need V10.5 or any other version logs. This is number one. StarBurn V12 had changed logging stuff as we do support per-application logs now. Take a look a the new initialization routines and update your code. As it's one of the cases we could not keep 100% backward compatibility. This is number two.

Excellent! Now please keep this disc, developers will issue you with a full trace build and we'll find out what's actually fails.

Did you receive a full-trace build from Vitalli and run it all over the place?
