#1 Burning Software

I'm using the latest beta of StarBurnX (StarBurnX_v12_140_20100312.zip) and now noticed that the UDFDataBurner doesn't work anymore. When adding files and folders, always NULL is returned. The "Files" property is also NULL.
Same code works fine with older versions of StarBurnX (even sample applications no longer work). Need a fix ASAP. Thanks.

Hm...doesn't seem to work yet.

dataBurner.AddFileEx(@"C:\temp\myfile", "\\test.ext") alsways returns null, AddDirectoryEx() always causes an exception "HRESULT: 0x80040297".

1) Why you add the back slash "\\" prefix for name of file?!

2) Did you registered new version of StarBurnX12.dll ?

3) Refresh the reference on StarBurnX for your application.

Note: the KeepSessionOpened property has been added to ImageBurner. Could you test it please?:)

Well, I have the property "KeepSessionOpened", which is new, so I suppose that all references are up-to-date. (And I did update them.)

Regarding the prefix: I actually do a .TrimStart('\\') on this value, didn't include that in my post. My mistake.

What I noticed though was that the GetVersion() method still returns an old build number (160). Is that intentional?

Hello,

1) Remove old reference on StarBurnX from your project;
2) Add new reference on StarBurnX:

- call "Add reference" menu;
- select COM page;
- choose StarBurnX 12.0 Type Library;
- rebuild your application;

This issue has been reproduced once ... our test project kept the old reference on StarBurnX!!
This issue has left after the new COM reference on StarBurnX was added ( as result new Interop.RocketDivision.StarBurnX.dll was generated )! Do not forget to Rebuild your project after new reference has been added!

After 3 hours of trying I think I finally got the latest version of you DLL into my application. COM free registration does not yet seem to work (even after reading the whole article on that matter http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms973913.aspx), but at least the databurner issue seems to be fixed.
