Including Extra Files On A DVD

Hi

I want to be able to add some extra files to a DVD Video i am creating, i have seen the "ExtraFilesDirectory" method but it can only add a whole directory.

I would like to be able to build a directory tree in a similar way to "CreateFolder" when using the "DataBurnerClass"

Is this possible?

Yes, it's possible. It's not clear however do you want to use StarBurn SDK or StarBurnX wrapper. As the ways are different.

Sorry it's impossible with StarBurnX now. I guess we may plan this feature on the next version.

Can you give me some pointers on adding extra files (some in a folder, some in the root directory) to a DVD Video compilation using StarBurn SDK v12.

Hello

1) If you are StarBurnX user you can use the ExtraFilesDirectory property of the DVD Video Burner. Using this property you can add content of your folder into the root of DVD Video compilation.

2) You CAN'T add extra files to VIDEO_TS & AUDIO_TS folders using the current version of StarBurnX. This feature planned on the next version.

You can do it with StarBurn core for years. Check DVDVideoXxx console samples how to do it.

P.S. What you want is DVD-Video spec violation so prepare your resulting disc would not play on at least SOME of the stand-alone players (100% hi-end ones).

I read in another thread that v12 was going to be the last release, does this mean the feature i require is only going to be available using StarnBurn Core?

If so i had better get re-writting my app.

We have some kind of misunderstanding here. We don't have any plans to drop anything. New features are added and old ones don't go away. You're *recommended* to use new API calls but you can stick with an old ones if you want / really need to.

Hello,

1) New build of StarBurnX is ready to be tested - link was removed

2) DVDVideoBurner pulls now all content of the "ExtraFilesDirectory" into a DVD Video compilation.
