Hello,

"Even there are some cases in which m_starBurnX.Refresh() never ends." ... hmm ... at the first we should look into the StarBurn log file in order to investigate this situation!!!

Regards,

Dmitry

Hello Dima Sir,

1) I am sending you a log file which is simulating the above discussed scenario.
2) But I guess it will not help you because before calling m_starBurnX.Drives(). Now I am calling m_starBurnX.Refresh() and which is fetching disc information.
3) But the disc in the drive is not detected for last 2 hours & even the log file is also not updated since and in this case my sample application is not started since 2 hours.
4) In this case drive itself is failing to load the disc. But I think in this case m_starBurnX should report drive but discinformation should be reported for no disc.

I am reporting this problem to you as I am facing the same problem on Refresh call on various machines.
So I think if you will modify current be behaviour to call starBurn.Refresh in this build it harm int his. Am I clear now. Thank you .

What you've posted is RELEASE build log. It has nothing except StarBurn SDK version banner inside so we cannot do anything with it. Please stick with DEBUG builds from now and forever. Up to your stuff hitting true RELEASE cycle. Thanks!

Hm, regarding my original post: How can I actually burn a UDF/ISO/Joliet briged file system?

It's not possible with StarBurnX wrapper (unless you burn DVD-Video of course). You can do it however with StarBurn core API.

Then I'd appreciate if you could add this feature to the wrapper as well (sooner or later) :)

It's gonna happen closer to "later" as we're currently re-working ISO engine...

Any news on the briged file systems yet? I really need this feature to get rid of the other burning library I use.

Or, as you offered earlier, when will the wrapper be open sourced? Then I could possibly look into implementing that feature.

Core can do it for years and StarBurnX will overwrap it soon (if it does not do it yet).

We plan to release StarBurnX wrapper as open source solution with the next big StarBurn SDK update (maybe even this summer).

That'd be great. If I can do anything to speed up the process, let me know.

For importing previous sessions, is there some way of getting the progress? (OnProgress dos not do anything while importing.) With my current *** SDK, I can determine the progress because it even offers an event that tells which file has been added.

Possible with StarBurn core but not StarBurn X.
