Can you also send me a console output for first failed burn and for second good burn?

'trackatoncefromtree.exe 0 0 0 0 c:\tk 0 1 > c:\output1.log'

And don't run closesession, because it's already closed. (according to your logs).

To get the data from previous session you have to use TrackAtOnceWithImport.

1) Links you've published are broken. I get error 404 (file is missing) when trying to download your data.

2) You're passing extra unused parameter to TrackAtOnceFromTree.exe. What for? Can you use run the samples with correct command line?

3) Are you using own build ones? Can you try pre-compiled ones?

I take it from your previous advice. to get console output to file text. yes I can.

yes, but I only change a few things, same as trackatoncefromtree before.

thanks

As I understend you have the problems only when you are trying to burn the folder 'c:\tk'. Can you remove some big files from this folder, then check that it's still not working and then to pack it and send archive to me. I will check this folder.

Thanks.

yes, you are right. it is only happened to folder 'c:\tk', but I cant send it to you, because it is 240mb. if I remove some file, the problem might not be the same anymore. my first question is there some condition that we musnt do or a kinda type file that may not be burn ?, because it is happened to my third try too (look above) on 'e:\ppc'.

then I tried trackatoncefromtreewithimport, so far so good until last try, the folder from previous session is missing, after I add a new session. please see above. (fool me I dont run debug view or logging console output, because I am in hurry). is it possible to have multisession writing using trackatoncefromtreewithimport without missing any folder from previous session?

thank you very much for your support.

Can you remove some big files and then check again. If it will not burn, remove next some files. We would like to discover this bug, but we need the same conditions as you have.

Yes, it's possible. Last parameter of TrackAtOnceFromTreeWithImport - is the track number to import.
So, you should specify the last burned track number.
But you are passing always 1.

which one ?

Code:
'trackatoncefromtreewithimport.exe 0 0 0 0 c:\bernard 0 1'

I was thinking that last parameter is for closing session, if that one is for determine which session, so can you tell me what is the correct command?

in that case, I have another question, how can I get the number of session from disc?

thank you.

It's right only for trackatoncefromtree.exe

'trackatoncefromtreewithimport.exe 0 0 0 0 c:\bernard 0 0' - burns the data without importing any sessions.

'trackatoncefromtreewithimport.exe 0 0 0 0 c:\bernard 0 1' - burns the data with importing first track.

'trackatoncefromtreewithimport.exe 0 0 0 0 c:\bernard 0 2' - burns the data with importing second track.

Call StarBurn_CdvdBurnerGrabber_GetTOCInformation(...) you will have TOC_INFORMATION structure filled. This structure contains the following members:
m__UCHAR__NumberOfSessions - number of sessions
m__UCHAR__NumberOfTracks - number of tracks
I think you should check m__UCHAR__NumberOfTracks, because we are passing the track number to import pevious session, not the session number.

can you tell me how to get DISC_TYPE as string?

I have try some possibility, that I find on your sample.
Code:
   inttostr(1__DISC_TYPE)
   inttostr(DWORD(1__DISC_TYPE))
   inttostr(integer(1__DISC_TYPE))

I noticed that DWORD and integer function is from windows.pas, I already put it on.

Code:
uses windows, ........

I will be thankful if you give me some code that will give a string output base on the real type is. (DISC_TYPE_CDROM --> CD-ROM)

thank you.

I have another question.

until now I only know that I can add folder on root of the disc.

is it possible to add a file or folder to another folder from previous session?
example :
first burn : I am adding folder bernard on blank CD-R
second burn : I am adding folder sidhayta inside folder bernard.

can you tell me how to do it?

Yes, you can. Just create the FileSystem. Then import the session. Get the handle of the root node, then get the handle of the node you wish and add the files or folders to imported folder as it was added before.
