Hello,

I am working on Data burning. After adding the files and folders in databurner object, if the added files (or folders) are deleted or renamed, and if burning started causes the following error

ErrorDescriptionForBug: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException, Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040255
ErrorStackTrace: at RocketDivision.StarBurnX.DataBurnerClass.Burn(Boolean TestBurn, String VolumeName, String PublisherName, String ApplicationName)

Is there any way to detect that the error (Exception) is due to file or folder (Source) availability? Because the above COMEXCEPTION can occur in many cases. So I need a way to detect that even though its a COMEXCEPTION but it is due to file or folder availability.

Thanks for any reply in advance

Lock files and folders and don't allow them to be deleted after they are added to StarBurn tree. StarBurn has a property for this. Dima, can you make it enabled by default?

Thanks for the reply.

Can you please tell me this property? But I have one doubt like if the files or folders are added from Network location and after adding, network is not available, then is there any way available?

I am facing the same problem in Video burn and Create Audio CD also. Because like data burning, one can add files to object in Video Burning and Audio CD creation. Can you please tell me?

Then you'll get an error during burning. Failed read. You don't expect us to re-create missing folder content in memory, do you?

Dima, please update the version. It's a parameter to StarBurn API core call. Thanks!
