1) Components are updated.

2) We're still checking what's wrong with your configuration. However you did not reply by e-mail:

- what OS are you using (sorry, your screenshots are in Chineese and I cannot read them)

- do you have the same problem with other burning applications

I can open each file in the burned CD-RW.
You can test by using starburnx demo.

Ok. Please do the following:
1. burn your CD-RW
2. Eject disc
3. Close your app;
4. Load disc;
5. Run app;
6. Check DiscInfo.
Will it work?
And, please, provide me with a sample of your code where you are getting DiscInfo.
Thanks.

Maybe You misunderstand what I said.

I just test this question on Grab&Burn.
It also did not right.

(I can not post the sreen shot :? )
I will email to you later.

I just have sent email (include a log file and a screen shot) to anton@rocketdivision.com.
I have test it on Grab&Burn twice.
The Log file is lastest one.

BTW:
Please Info me if starburnx.dll has been updated.

1) StarBurnX.dll has not been updated either.

2) I'm so sorry.I reply to you this morning.

OS:Windows XP
Decription:When I burn some data to a CD-RW disc with GRAB &BURN.
if I don't select eject disc after burn . The Free space is same to the total space in Windows Explorer,but is right in GRAB & BURN.
if I burn with starburnX demo. The Free space is wrong(like Windows Explorer).

I'll try another test in this question.

3)Which time do you plan to release new version support to burn cue/bin files?

Thank you very much.

1) Sorry for this! I'll kick site manager b/s Alex had sent updated StarBurnX component two days ago from now. I'll inform you ASAP.

2) This is NORMAL! I mean until you do not eject recorded disc Windows would not update disc content. That's why ALL of the disc recording applications do eject disc after recording is done.

3) Not sure yet... I hate to give fake promises but I think next big update scheduled in 3-4 weeks from today would have at least partial CUE/BIN recording support. Too many people do ask about this feature.

When I just burn my DVD,some error occured:

SCSI CDB delivery failed, check CDB_FAILURE_INFORMATION for details

CStarBurn_ScsiTransportASPI::ExecuteCDB(): Command failed

I have replaced starburn sdk with newest verion. so I waiting for the new starburnx.dll on edge.

I think I have to use starburn.dll with delphi directly . :?
(I don't know what happened,which failure information?)

Please seach this forum archives upon how to capture debug logs from StarBurn. We need complete application log to tell what's wrong not just partial quote.

The free space is same with the total space even if eject after the disc.
You can test it on starburnx demo.

We cannot reproduce this problem here. Either you're doing something and not telling to us or you have some software which results such a behaviour. Alex is working on this issue still however.

Grab & Burn and StarBurn SDK have very different burning engines. So I do not believe in fact they are broken in the same way. Something with Windows. Now checking WHAT.

OK. The only was I was capable of replay your situation was:

1) Open Windows Explorer showing root of the "My Computer". CD-RW drive with inserted media shows something like 74MB/0MB free.

2) Burn addutional session to the disc. Burn complete, disc ejected (by application) and manually loaded into drive.

3) Windows Explorer still shows 754MB/0MB free. *OLD* data. After manual refresh new data is shown (110MB/0MB free in my case).

Is it what you see? If yes - it's standard Windows Explorer behaviour. At least with "AutoInsertNotification" disabled (my case).

If not - please clarify. I cannot make Windows (also XP, no SP, SP1 and SP2) show 625MB/625MB free (your initial picture). It just always shows no information at all for blank CD-RW disc. Are you sure you do not have any additional CD recording applications installed? Like Alcohol 120%, Nero InCD or some other Packet-At-Once recording software?

What file system are you using? If UDF then you're cough dead. UDF volumes cannot be appended with current version of StarBurn. Use ISO9660/Joliet for incremental recording.

It can be use for reference for you.

The product which uses starburn will be release in serval days later.
I will going on compare the difference of two Burn SDK.

I hope StarBurn will be the Best One.

I know very well about PixByte stuff and I cannot comment what they have, what codebase was originally taken etc in my company public forum :-)
