#1 Burning Software

Hello I am working with trial version of your SDK. I use your closesession.exe and try to finalize CD-R with several session (written not with your SDK). program writes

but after it CD-R is not finalized and I can write to it again. Can you please help me? Evgeniy

1) Always send debug logs. Console output is not enough.

2) Don't mix different burning engines. I don't know (and to say thruth have absolutely no interest) to check what other vendors do.

Sorry, how can I get debug logs? I tried to burn blank cd-r with your soft - with trackatoncefromtree - burned ok and wrote in console output that closing session was ok, but after that I was able to burn again new session with trackatoncefromtreewithimport. You see, I want to buy SDK that allows to finalize CD-R after burning in order to prevent any burnings in future. Does your SDK allows to finalize Cd-R? Thanks, Evgeniy

1) Try searching this formu archive. This question was asked and answered multiple times.

2) Unfortunately you don't understand the process... You can play with "would it be other stuff on the disc later or not" during setting write parameters BEFORE starting write. So when we're closing session (or in other words - writing lead-out) we cannot control would it be other session or not. So you're fishing in a place with no fish The only thing you can do - write bogus extra session (15 megabytes of space would be lost) with no data, set options "IsNextSessionAllowed = FALSE" and finalize disc. That's all... However such an approach would not work for formatted DVD-RW, DVD+RW and DVD-RAM discs. They are ALWAYS writable.
