How do I read the CDText on a CD(either one I burned or an Audio Disc that has CDText)?

For now StarBurn can write CD-Text but cnnot read it (kind of stupid, I agree!). We'll be adding this feature ASAP.

Thanks for the quick response. Any idea where I could look to find how to read it manually/directly like via IOCTRL or however WinAmp or other players read it?

You may look to Linux CDRDAO source code. They do read and write CD-Text AFAIK. Code is quite portable.

Software players usually scan track duration and get matching recording from FreeDB or CDDB.

Thanks. I'll check it out. I'm already using FreeDB but I wanted a way to get CD track names if the customer didn't have internaet access. I don't want to include the FreeDB database locally, So I figured CD Text would be the next best option.

That's true... However you'll have to wait a bit while we'll complete it Or write down the CD Text reading and parsing yourself...

While I've got you can you tell me how to cancel a grab/burn from the starburn_callback function?

Just call _Cancel(...) from the callback. It only sets internal flas so it should be safe to call it from inside the callback.
