Will Blu Ray or HD DVD be supported in the StarBurn SDK, and if so when.

Yes, we plan to add the support of Blu Ray and HD DVD. For now I cannot tell exactly when it will be ready. Definitely not in the next release.

To have BD and HD DVD support as part of the StarBurn we need to have both devices and media becoming mainsteam. I'm in Germany on pre-CeBIT'2006 now and I cannot find single BD or HD DVD burner not only in stores but even burning hardware companies cannot provide us with working specimen and set of recordab/rewritable media for development. What's use in hardware untested and claimed f.e. BD support? So you (and other StarBurn customers) would have their free update after week or two I'd get hands over working hardware. So the question "when" is really not to RDS staff but rather to computer hardware stores
