Hi.. when I try to register the starburn.ocx, I got the following error message..

Code:
LoadLibrary("C:\Program Files\Rocket Division Software\StarBurn SDK\Bin\starburn.ocx") failed - The specified module could not be found.

Any idea??

I am running it on Window XP Professional - Service Pack 2

Thanks

Don't do crazy things!!

To register OCX you need to execute StarBurnOCX-Install.bat. If you want to do it manually from inside your application (have no idea why you don't want to do it from your app setup) - just check what's written inside it and do the same (ShellExecute( ..., "regsvr32.exe", ... ) etc.

Alright!

I think I know what I am doing.. I know what inside that .bat file and I tried both executing the batch file and running exact same command at command line... (regsvr32 <component> blah blah blah.. right?)

And, I got that error message.. I thought one of it's .dll was missing..

I downloaded the Grab&burn and run it and found some .dll are missing.. msvcp71.dll and msvcr71.dll, then I downloaded them from www.dll-files.com and tried again and it worked..

So, I put the two dlls in the same directory with .ocx and regsvr32 and it worked.

But, why? A version conflict maybe? And, what exactly are the prerequisites?

Thanks.

And, one more thing, I like to know..

Is it possible to burn CD/DVD from files rather than ISO image? I guess not with the StarBurn. But, I like to know if there's any other component that support.. Or, I should just creat ISO image file using other component and use StarBurn to burn?

StarBurn can burn from individual files. Check TrackAtOnceFromTree. Good example of what you need to do.
