Hi

I use WinNT4, launching the sample DiscAtOnceFromFile with a CD I can burn my iso file.
When I insert a blank DVD on the same DVD burner, StarBurn_CdvdBurnerGrabber_TestUnitReady returns fail.

Someone knows if SCSI Start cmd is launched inside StarBurn_CdvdBurnerGrabber_TestUnitReady or if I have to modify the sample to implent StarBurn_CdvdBurnerGrabber_Load before
StarBurn_CdvdBurnerGrabber_TestUnitReady.

I think SCSI load cmd is equal to SCSI Start cmd.

Someone can help ?

DAO (in the way it works for CD) is not supported with DVD media. Please use TrackAtOnceFromFile sample to burn your ISO image to CD and DVD media.

Sure you can add such a commands. We just want to keep samples as tiny as possible. I personally hate 100K samples

TrackAtOnceFromFile works well when burning iso file on DVD.

I check on SCSI Specs : The Start cmd is different than Load cmd.

Do we know if StarBun SDK has Start/Stop scsi cmd implemented ?

You can check StarBurn_CdvdBurnerGrabber_Load and StarBurn_CdvdBurnerGrabber_Eject function. They allow you to open and close tray door (if drive has non-latched tray). We do not export manual start/stop unit w/o media access bit set yet. And not have plans to export them. Why do you need such a functionality?
