Hello,

I came across this wierd problem, when i try to write into a blank Recordable CD (Moserbaer 52X Recordable). The data is written. 100% completion is tracked. And when i try to read the CD, it shows a blank CD.
When i check the Disc Info through Nero, it shows the a Session.
The Drive Model No. is (HL-DT-ST RW/DVD GCC-43208)

Regards,
Annie

Would you please provide us with the debug log of the burning process. I guess you don't close session but need to have log to be 100% sure. Thanks!

Hi!

That's exactly the problem with closing session twice. Now the session is closed by OCX internaly in a call to TrackAtOnceXXX methods when test write flag is false, so you should not call CloseSession in your code.

Hello Alexander,

I have used that line of code i.e CloseSession after Trackatoncefromfile after going through your sample C# code that was send along with the Licensed OCX version.
Will remove the CloseSession method and try out

Annie

Hello Alexander,

I removed that line of code. But the session remained open even after the Burn process was complete.
Please guide.

Annie

Hi!

Are you sure you use the latest version of StarBurn? We released 6.6.30 version recently. The samples are changed appropriately in the new release.

Alexander Orlovsky

Hello Alexander,

In the website, A list of all producst is displayed.
In the page "http://www.rocketdivision.com/download_starburn_sdk.html"
i have the link "order now" .
As i have already purchased the OCX earlier, how can i download the new ocx without going to the shopping cart.
I am awaiting your reply.

Regards,
Annie.

Hi!

You just download the new version of SDK from the site. The link for the current version is always http://www.rocketdivision.com/downloads/starburn.exe. It is the same for evaluation and commercial version.

Alexander Orlovsky

Also, Annie, please check your mail server because when we send responses to your mail we get them back with the message saying that messages from our server are being blocked.

Hello Alexander,

I wanted to mention about a problem that i faced quite a couple of times.
The CD Drive does not eject after the Burn process.
The tray hangs and then we have to use some sort of pins so that the tray ejects.
As you have received the log file. Could you please tell me if i am doing something wrong in the code

Regards,
Annie

Hi!

I answered by mail, please send the log file that reproduces the problem, the one you sent has a successful eject command.

Regards,
Alexander Orlovsky
