I am willing to switch to StarBurn SDK for one application but I am not sure the following things are possiible:

1. rip a Movie dvd, DVD9 etc
2. choose only movie (no extras etc)
3. compress to fit 1 DVD or split in 2 DVD-s
4. show encryption progress
5. burn and show the burning progress

Are these functions that exist in the StarBurn SDK? I plan to develop the application using Delphi 7.

1) Yes, we can rip a whole DVD. Protected or unprotected - does not matter.

2) It's possible to do with special DVD authoring sample we don't incude to basic SDK.

3) We don't transcode... There are only two publically avaible toolkits/source code trees which can do this. But they both produce playable DVD-Video compilation only in say 50% of the cases.

4) We don't create encrypted content. And I don't know single SDK which is able to do this.

5) Sure, we can burn and show burning progress.

We don't give free AD to our competitors. Google with keywords and you'd find them.
