RD-

I downloaded the trial, snapped the OCX in, tested it, and realized I must have UDF.

What's the estimated arrival of the new OCX?

Next StarBurn update is scheduled to 10th of October. However I'm not sure we'll have UDF stuff there. Please write down detailed list of requirements to info@rocketdivision.com and we'd check - what can we do for you. Thanks!

Today October, 16. When the update could be available?

Very soon. If you'd keep asking us - it would not speed up anything. We don't want to release raw code.

We don't have it. All we know now - we're already 6 days out of schedule.

Thanks!

Gents-

I was retesting the little application I wrote and I'm now receiving an error when the software is confirming registration.

I re-downloaded the free download after the dev machine died, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I am using the OCX.

Additional information: COM object with CLSID {4D541AA6-8C7B-46D7-9A59-00810677D93F} is either not valid or not registered.

Has the OCX been updated to support UDF?

1) Did you use .bat file to register it? If StarBurn was not installed on this machine you need to do manual OCX registration.

2) New version we're busy with right now to replace existing OCX - Yes.

I ran the normal installation, so StarBurn is installed under Program Files\Rocket....

I've rerun the bat found in the OCX folder and the app is happy again. I rebooted to ensure the installation wizard could complete any tasks but that didn't work.

Thanks for your help!

Looking forward to the bigger & better OCX

Hold on... Do you mean OCX works only before machine reboots? What OS are you running?

That's exactly what we do now :)

BAT fixed the issue. Everyone and everything is happy again.

I was referring to the fact the wizard didn't run the BAT or register the OCX automatically on install. If it's not to auto register the OCX then I missed that...

1) Excellent!

2) I need to check is it feature or bug :) I mean is it a problem with the installer or did we manually remove OCX registration from initial installation routine (as not so many people use OCX out-of-box).
