Limitations in speed selection

I'm having trouble to set the WriteSpeed to very slow in my project. Using the Video Burning Wizard sample I found that only 16x, 24x, 40x and 48x (max) are available. But with Nero I can burn at very low speeds. It seems to have a functionality to force a slow down. Is this posssible with StarBurn, as well?

Was drive and recordable media the same in case of StarBurn and Nero?

Can you send us debug log of doing SetSpeeds( say 8x) and GetSpeeds( ... ) did EXACTLY after that call?

The one you've sent is not StarBurn.log, rather it's application own log telling nothing particular. Please send us what I've asked to send. Thanks!
