Why is it that when I use the Blank command, with the ERASE_TYPE_BLANK_DISC_FAST switch, it still takes 1-2 minutes to erase a 4x DVD+RW disk? The same disk only takes about 20 seconds to erase in Nero. Am I doing something wrong? Or is this a limitation of the SDK?

If it's a limitation of the SDK I can live with it, but it seems odd that other programs can do the same thing so much quicker.

We're using different write modes with Nero for +RW media. So for StarBurn we need to format it before writing first N sectors with zeros (what Nero actually does). That's why there's such a difference in the speed of operation. We may change it, however there are much more important tasks pending :)

OK I just wanted to be sure I wasn't doing something wrong.
