Hi,

I just downloaded the starburn version 9 'evolution'. The look and feel and the features it provide are really good.

However, I am having a small issue.

I took some videos out of my kodak digital camere and the videos are saved as *.mov files (quicktime files). I converted them into mpeg1 video formats and the resultant files are now available as *.mpg. I have nearly 15 to 20 video files like this and I would like to burn all of them into a single VCD. However, starburn is designed to take only one video file to burn a VCD. Is there a way to burn multiple mpg files into a single VCD using starburn?

Thanks,
Balaji.

We don't burn multi-track (multi-file) VCDs/SVCDs and don't have any plans to add this stuff ever. 99% of the people do only need "one CD - one file" movies so we don't want to invest any time/money into old technologies. Sorry for this :)

Thanks for your reply.

To me, I consider this feature as a basic one as we record any functions like wedding, house warming etc as multiple video recordings.

I would stick with <ugly commercial software> then.

Thanks,
Balaji.

You can perfectly re-master the whole movie as a single MPEG sequence. VirtualDub could do it just fine.

We don't have any problems with you paying 90 Euro for <ugly commercial software> instead of using our FREE software :)

Good joke. You don't have the ability to provide the functionality that they offer, but you call it as "Ugly Commercial software".

hehehe..

Thanks,
Balaji.

Look... We have commercial burning toolkit. It's designed to solve some tasks. Burning multi-track VCD is NOT our toolkit main task. We also have free (I mean it - ABSOLUTELY FREE) end-user software doing probably most of the things people need. Most but not all... If you're not happy with what our stuff does for free - you're welcomed to pay money and get commercial software doing what you want. I don't have any problem with this! Absolutely! Just don't give to that software any advertisment here, OK?
