#1 Burning Software

I frequently see this error when try to burn DVD back ups of my audio collection


Full error

Failed to burn the currrent disc.
Error 8 'CStarBurn_ScsiTransportASPI::ExecuteCDB():Command failded"
SCSI driver returned 0x2A0018A5000100


The collection is mainly in mp3/aac/wma/flac/wav


I encounter the error at intermittently at various stages of burn process and the disc is ejected. If I replace the disc the burn completes with no problems.

I have tried various make and models of drives with the same result.

I am using Starburn dll file version 7.2.20.544 Product version 7.2.20 build 20070220

Any ideas what may be causing this error?
