Does StarBurn.ocx work with ClickOnce?

I have been thrashing about to get StarBurn.ocx to work with ClickOnce using Reg-Free deployment.

When I install the app via ClickOnce, I get an error message indicating that the manifest file's format is invalid. Upon examining the error it seems to be some kind of threading problem.

Here's an exerpt of the error:

* Activation of O:\Files\NED\NED 1_0_0_8 Installer\N.E.D.application resulted in exception. Following failure messages were detected:
+ Exception reading manifest from file:///O:/Files/NED/NED%201_0_0_8%20Installer/N.E.D_1_0_0_8/N.E.D.exe.manifest: the manifest may not be valid or the file could not be opened.
+ The 'threadingModel' attribute is invalid - The value 'free' is invalid according to its datatype 'urn:schemas-microsoft-com:asm.v1:ThreadingModelType' - The Enumeration constraint failed.
+ The Enumeration constraint failed.

I also tried to modify the sample app OCX.DVDVideoBurner to create a ClickOnce deployment with the same results.

Any help would be appreciated.

StarBurn.OCX is a legacy component. We support it for existing customers with existing applications only. For new development StarBurnX replacement is nearly ready. Drop us a message to info@rocketdivision.com to get access to the RC version of it. In upcoming version we'll relace StarBurn.OCX with new StarBurnX component. StarBurn.OCX will remain support in a separate installation only (not to confuse the users). Thanks!
