Hi,

I'm trying to burn with TrackAtOnceFromTree. After the burn process finished without an error the disc is idle in Explorer, DeviceInfo shows the session. I tried to close the session but as i understand this does nothing when burnng RW-meida? Thx in advance for any help!

I've a debug-log of 800kb, should I post it here?

best regards
Raoul

There are NO errors in the log. And I need complete one and not the part you think makes sense. B/c it does not.

Hello Anton,

Thank you for your help!
I do an StarBurn_DownShut in my Uninitialize and closes the application, I also tried to read the disc in different devices -> always idle.
I'll send you the full log by email, you'll hopefully find the problem.
I'm sure I'm doing sth. wrong.... but what?

Thx in advance!
best regards
Raoul

Unfortunately nothing arrived so far :( And there are no e-mails related to this post in the spam killer inbox as well.

Hi Anton,

I resent you the email with subject
"debug-log StarBurnSDK from User SitaRaoul (idle disc after burning)"
to your address anton@rocketdivision.com.
Hopefully this one makes it through.

Thx

You've sent me erase logs. So after erasing you don't see any data on the disc (which is actually what's erase is supposed to do). So what the problem really is? What do you want to see on the erased media? :)

OK :D
Here another try, perhaps I mixed up my logs.
What I do i my main thread is very simple:
-Blank
-Eject
-Load
-TrackAtOnceFromTree
(-Eject)
(-Load)
-CloseSession
-Eject
-Load

You'll find the log result in your mailbox.

Thx a lot for your patience!

It's a big mistake to issue eject/load sequence between burning and disc finalization. Fix this.

Hi Aaron,

I tried both ways, with and without ejecting.
I sent another log file to Anton where I did:

-Blank
-Eject
-Load
-TrackAtOnceFromTree
-CloseSession
-Eject
-Load

I've no idea what's going wrong, I tried several media, devices, on several machines..... always a blanc disc.

Thx in advance
Raoul

Don't send any e-mails personally to anybody. There's a dedicated alias support@rocketdivision.com for this.

You still do crazy things in your program (like enabling buffer underrun protection and doing optimum power calibration and ejecting the disc EFFECTIVELY DISCARDING ALL THESE ACTIONS). Please remove blanking code for now and try just to burn blank media. Say DVD-R w/o any previous data on it.

I think I solved the problem. My last tests were done locally on a machine that also runs a virtual machine. I restarted this machine without VM and..... it works :-)
I'll resume my tests....

Thx a lot!
