The Debug.log file recorded:
CDevice::InitStarBurnDll():StarBurn_UpStartEx() failed, exception 293082054
It happened only in one computer with :
ASUS A8N-VM mainboard
AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3000+

It occurred in: AudioBurner.exe, DeviceInfo.exe, DiscEraser.exe, ImageBurner.exe, and ImageGrabber.exe

All MSVC sample worked fine.

I installed entirely new Windows XP w/ SP3, still the same.

Please advice mw how to solve it?

Hello,

Please wait a few days, build will be updated, bugs in CBuilder samples will be fixed.

Nice to hear that, thanks.

BTW, could you add a simple sample to get the SCSI port ID, SCSI bus ID, SCSI target ID, and SCSI LUN for a CD/DVD drive? :roll:

1) Thank you for your patience!

2) ASPI is obsolete and not recommended to be used at all. So we'll better spend some time on other samples :)

Understood.

But many C samples need those values as command-line arguments, such as GrabDisc.c and SessionAtOnceRawRawPW.c. That can make it easier to modify these samples and integrated to application software :lol:

We're moving them from ASPI -> SPTI/SPTD one-by-one. That's the point...
