Hello Support,
I am using StarburnX Version 10.0.0.1 (Build 2008-07-14).

I am Using DataBurner VB.NET sample provided by the StarburnX SDK.
I added some files or folder for burning in dataBurner object.
After burning the Files on the disk, the modified date-time is the actual date-time of creation of the file.
But After burning the Folders on the disk, the modified date-time is the same as the date-time of modification which is appearing in Explorer.
The mismatch is found for the modification date of files and folders.
So can you tell me why there is such a mismatch for modified date or something else needs to be corrected.

Use right attributes when creating tree objects.

Going through the manuals and samples, there are 2 methods for adding the files and folders in the object. These are as follows:
1) Addfile(Filepath)
2) AddDirectory(DirPath)
In the case of files, the available properties are Name, Path and size.
In the case of folders, the available property is “Filesâ€

So .. we will add properties for Dates configuring. This functionality will be included into the next StarBurnX update.

The StarBurnX does not provide functionality for tuning DATE & TIME of added files and folders, this functionality available with StarBurnSDK only ... so we will implement it for StarBurnX also!

Is the newer build is having support to save date of file or folder.
I found that property in UDFDataBurner, but in normal DataBurner it is not possible to save the date of an object. Is that possible ?

I am having one suggestion,
If possible, if the DataFile & DataFolder classes will be having tag property (In .NET framework it is there for almost everything like label,button,etc.). Then it will be great and extra information like date,time can be saved over there and will be simpler to use.

Is it possible?

Hello Support,

I am using DataBurner class for burning data on disc.

1) In my sample I am using a ListView to show the files added to compilation in which showing one of the column as Modified Date.

2) After burning some data on disc, disc ejected.
3) Again I inserted that disc.
4) Now if I am importing that data for showing Modified Date of any file or folder newly burned on the disc.
5) While fetching this details I am getting error as incorrect parameter. As per my observation, modified date is not getting attached for any file of folder as by application it was not specified nor Windows Explorer was open after burning.

So my question is can we add modified Date property while burning?

Hello,

1) Using StarBurnX you can not ( at least in the current version 10.5 ) specify the any of DATEs ( creation date, modification date etc. ) for added ( imported ) files (folders).

2) 1-5 ... We will check it!!
