Something is really wrong here...and I'm a little confused.

1/ Looking at the "core" samples, I see to burn with CDText I have to have the burning mode in DAO, but looking at the "X" samples I don't see that indicator/warning. Is DAO required with the "X" version?

2/ DiscInfo sample is showing me that I don't have either DAO and it does not appear in the dropdown mode selector in the burner sample, but a couple other software that I have says that I do have DAO; so it looks like this is a bug that needs to be fixed.

3/ Is DAO required around the board for any CDText writing software? If it is, then this is definately a bug because I'm able to write text with all of my other burning software.

1) DAO is always required for CD-Text.

2) "Other software" calls Session-At-Once DAO. So ask "other software" developers to fix their software.

3) StarBurn SDK can burn CD-Text in DAO96 mode only.

1/ OK
2/ OK
3/ Since other software developers seem to call their DAO SAO, that means they are able to write CDText with SAO since I'm getting the CDText with them. Is there a reason starburn has been limited to the need of DAO to do CD Text writing, while other software is able to do it with SAO? That seems like a major limitation which is possible to be fixed.

StarBurn can burn CD-Text CDs only in DAO96 mode. Yes, this can be done in RAW SAO + SUB (SAO96) mode as well. But b/c of the major issues we don't support this mode for AudioCD burning and don't have any plans to support this mode either.
