Historically TAO was not able to set track-to-track pause length, SAO & DAO could. We've designed DAO engine as being able to produce gap-less CDs but did not apply such a thing to SAO engine. Later applied to TAO (ability to control gaps). So now DAO can make zero-gap CDs (always), TAO can (if underlying hardware supports, mostly often) and SAO is hardcoded with 2 seconds track-to-track pause.

Unless I have something wrong, everything I see on the net essentially says that SAO burning should produce gapless CD because it is related to DAO. So why when I choose SAO I get the 2 sec gap? What would be the need to have SAO and TAO together on StarBurnX if they both produce the same thing at the end of the day.
