Hi.
Is it possible to manualy set a layer break ? I would like to burn an .iso file on DVD-DL disc and I need to set a layer break at a given position.
Thanks for help.

We don't export this in the current API. So for DVD-Video (single session assumes) we break in 49.5% / 50.5% and if it's multi-session disc we put layer break in the place to maximize capacity.

Thanks Anton for the information.
Do you think that ther is some work around to set the layer break manualy? I mean somthing like burn some sectors on first layer, then burn some amount of null bytes to fill to the end the first layer, go to layer 2 and burn other sectors? Could it be calculated how much sectors are on the first layer ?

It's not possible to do this. Physically. With any software.

Yes, it is possible. Look at the screen of some software
http://ipicture.ru/uploads/080720/YZVtRMDQKS.jpg There is an option to set Layer Break at specified position.
I would like to have the option in my own software that use your SDK.

You cannot burn some data, then burn padding and then burn to another layer. It will create "gap" and you'll have file system put some info about this gap into metadata. I don't know any single software allowing doing this...

Back to what you've quoted - it's totally different thing. It's just putting layer break in pre-defined position. This is done inside SDK automatically and ability to put manual break is not exported. If you'll buy the license we'll export such a functionality in the next minor update.
