How to use Bootable Disc Feature

Hello Support,
Thank you for reply.
1) I am using StarBurnX. Developing in VB.NET and using build dated 19th May 2009.
2) I want to include Bootable disc as a feature in my application.
3) How to use this feature?
4) I have gone through StarBurnX VB.NET and StarBurn Core MSVC samples, but I am not clear with the whole concept of Bootable disc. I am having several questions after my study about this. Some of them I am listing down.
a. Why this feature is included in DataBurner? Why not to keep this as independent?
b. Why we need to specify IMG/IMA/BIN files (I guess to make discs bootable means to provide files required for disc to be io.sys,msdos.sys,commmand.com, is it so?)
c. Why we have to add at least a file to DataBurner object in-order to make disc bootable?
5) I was observing some other applications no one requires a file to be added to DataBurner.
Will you kindly guide me how to use bootable disc feature.

Yes, you are right ... we should improve creation of bootable discs!!

Hello Dima Sir,
1) I want to use the Bootable Disc feature in my application. So I will wait for your reply about notification of updates in Bootable disc feature by you in StarBurnX.
2) When I will get a notification, then we will go through this post again with updated feature.
3) It will be very useful if you will guide me how to create a Bootable disc with a sample or by using IMG/IMA/BIN file.

4) I searched for any of these files, but I didn't found any of these with SDK samples. Is anything else I need to search :?:

5) I think it's better if we will discuss after expected updates.

Hello,

1) Ok, we will notify you when functionality for creation bootable discs/images will be updated;
2) We don't provide any bootable images!!

No. We'fe failed the schedule b/c of extensive UDF engine re-work (less memory usage, exact timestamps, 2.50/2.60 versions, UDF boot etc) and 64-bit build as well.

May I know the expected date, so that I can re-schedule all my pending work related to newer SDK version?
If yes then it will be very helpful to me so that I can organize my work according to that.

UDF engine work is done. We're fixing some minor issues and we'll have release planned for October.
