hi,
a couple of questions about StarBurnX:

1. Does "Erase" method of "DiscEraser" coClass work with UDF blu-ray disc (burned with property "NextSessionAllowed = true")? The disc eraser demo always tells me "Disc is already empty!", but it is not.

2. The "OnProgress" event of "UDFDataBurner" coClass raises quite seldomy expecially near the end of the burning process. For very large files (> 9gb) it only raises at 27%, 50% and 95% before finishing. Is it normal?

thanks a lot,
Massimo.

1) It's a bug inside sample. We'll fix it. Thanks for pointing!

2) You need to set proper callback calling period. After how many logical blocks processed you want callback to be called.

hi,
it seems that erasing for blu-ray UDF disc doesn't work. I tried also with my own code (with param fullErase both true and false) and with the c++ example, but the result is always the same. The disk is not erased because starburn sees an empty disc. Will this be fixed in the next minor release?

btw, I found a "dirty" workaround for this problem. If after erasing disc with starburn I try to erase it again with Windows from "computer resources", operation fails (prob win does not support UDF erase on blu-ray), but then disc is really empty!

the best way would be to find a code workaround for this. Any suggestions?

thanks a lot,
Massimo

P.S.: I can't find the way to change callback calling period in StarBurnX documentation. Can you suggest?

We'll fix this "tiny optimizaion" soon.

Dima will provide extended API call for StarBurnX wrapper.
