VolumeSetID, CopyrightFileIdentifier, ... in IBootImage

I have been used to properties like VolumeSetID, CopyrightFileIdentifier or DataPreparerIdentifier being part of any data compilation from *** burning SDK, in your's however, these only exist as part of a boot image (IBootImage). Why is that?

They can be set independently.

What does it mean? Currently, I can set these properties ONLY when having a boot image, which does not quite seem useful.

They can be set for boot image and non-boot image.

So how does it work in the latter case (StarBurnX)?

It does not. Yet. I'll ask Dima to fix this in the upcoming build.
