Hi,

is the SDK already compatible with Windows 7? I have same customers complaining that their burners are not recognized in Windows 7.

1) Yes of course!

2) No logs = no support... It could be multiple reasons why it happens (no StarOpen installed, no SPTD layer installed, no symbolic link assigned etc etcetc) and we don't want to waste time on discussions. Please ship as the logs and the reason should be visible as obvious one. And fix will follow immediately :)

Thank you, I just want to make clear, that Windows 7 itself isn't the problem. BTW your website doesn't mention Windows 7 as supported OS.

The most recent published release is ~year old. We'll be releasing V12 soon. Sorry, have to delay it b/c we want BD mastering (complete UDF 2.50/2.60 support, now there's one open issue) and also we did not decide about x64 version yet. Will we release it with V12 or will we do extra separate x64 version of SDK (the code, samples and binaries are pretty much different...). After release we'll OF COURSE update web site. Thank you for pointing!

OK, the most recent version of StarBurn SDK now works w/o any issues under Windows 7 (my own main development platform for now).
