I wanted to try StarBurn to burn a DVD-video .
So I tried it in test mode .
Then I switched to real mode but StarBurn told me that the DVD was't empty .
To make it short , I discovered that it has burnt the DVD for real and to add another bug on top , it didn't finalized the disc .

Could someone explain me all this ?

Thanks

I'm sorry for the errors I have made but english is not my language . I saw them on rereading the topic for replies .

I used a DVD+R . And even if 'test mode' is ignored and the DVD is burnt for real , I still don't understand why the disc is not finalized .

Is there a reason to such a weird situation ?

Thanks

DVD+R also does not have test burn... We'll fix the code not to show "test mode" for unsupported media. Sorry for this ;(

Hello Supprt,

Which types of discs supports test mode and which not?
Suggestion: If for DiscInformation class, IsTestModeSupported property will be available then it will help us a lot to overcome the checking of current disc type with the list of types.

Thank you in advance.

You need to handle callback. For some disc types (like DVD-RW) it's not clear is test mode supported or not (for single session and DVD-Video like burning - YES, for multisession - NO).
