StarBurn v15.2 Win 7 HP SP1 (64bit)
I've tried the following: 1. Start StarBurn. Select Burn Audio. Select "Virtual DVD-rom" created using other software. Error Msg appears "Please insert blank CD-R or CD-RW media into drive." 2. Start StarBurn. Select "Add Local Device". Select Next. Error Msg appears "ISO image file is not exist" 3. Start StarBurn. Select "Convert Audio". I select WAV files. But I discover that M4A format is not available. Select Cancel.
4a. Start StarBurn. Select "Build Image". Choose Filename (New.iso). Choose CD 703MB/80Min. Choose ISO9660 + Joliet extensions. Disable Create bootable Disc. Select WAV files. Create Image. 4b. Select "Add Local Device". Select Image "New.iso". Drive F: appears.
I open WMP12. I see drive F: Labelled NEW. I select F and both Open and Play are disabled options (grayed out). I then enable WMP's menu. Select Play|DVD,VCD,or CD Audio|CD Drive (F:) NEW Now WMP plays the virtual audio CD on F drive named NEW. So I can listen to this virtual audio CD.
But what I can't do is RIP this virtual audio CD. How do I get WMP to rip a virtual audio CD created using StarBurn? BTW, iTunes v12.1.0.71 (64bit) will not even recognize drive F:
Normally when you insert an audio CD, WMP will display additional options: Rip CD, and Rip Settings. These do not appear when using a virtual audio CD.
Am I creating an audio CD image incorrectly? Should I be using different StarBurn Settings to create an audio CD image?
