Enabling/disabling logging from an application

I know what registry entries to set/change to have StarBurn SDK create its logfile. However, enabling/disabling this facility from my application would mean changing the registry, and this would mean my application would require either admin rights or elevation in Windows Vista. It would be more convenient when an API would (also) be available to enable/disable logging. Is there?

If you need StarBurn logging in your application then necessary for this:
1) Add StarBurn registry key
2) Use debug versino of StarBurn.dll

Unfortunately no another way to enable/disable logging.
