Good morning

I've been playing with adjusting the cache amount to try and track down and reduce a delay before burning but I understand that writing an audio CD with less than 160MB is frowned upon (I went to 16MB).

I've built a test app to compare burning of various formats with various cache sizes to "race" the settings. But I want to monitor the CD Writer's buffer level to make sure the buffer isn't hitting 0 (thus causing a buffer underrun).

Does the OCX provide a way to monitor the Writer's buffer level and if not, is there a way that I can use straight API calls in C#?

Many thanks and keep up the great work
- Shaun

We don't export this functionality in OCX yet.

Thanks, Aaron.

Is there a really simple code snippet you have for C# or VB.NET that would allow me to import the DLL calls to obtain this using the core API?

Thanks again

You cannot do it. OCX is much more then an easy wrapper. So either you use StarBurnX *or* you use Core DLL / LIB. No mix.

No mix - fair enough :)

And I'll sure give you that the OCX (and better yet StarBurnX) is much simpler for us managed-code devs ;)
