Hello,
I've just read this topic:

viewtopic.php?t=108

My question is:

In the system we develop (a jukebox library) the "eject" and the "lock" commands have no real meaning since disc movement is indipend from the burner itself (we move the carriage directly with scsi commands).

So can I assume that the FSCTL_DISMOUNT_VOLUME command will always work if the library hardware and the operative system don't change?

thanks,
Massimo

Sure! Dismount & mount sequence paired with "lock" should be enough to initiate FS renewal.
