Hi Anton,

Unfortunately I have to revisit this issue again. We just purchased an HP Laptop to send out to one of our distributors and loaded the software as usual on it when we received the drive is not ready to burn error. This message, of course, is from your sample vb.net audio burner project.
Code:
' Whether drive is ready to burn
        If drive.State <> STARBURN_DRIVE_STATE.STARBURN_DRIVE_STATE_READY Then
            ShowErrorMessageBox("Drive is not ready to burn")
            Return False
        End If
I am using starburnx12 but it also was occurring in starburnx10.5. All we are doing is burning audio cds so its extremely basic. Please message me on here or contact me as soon as you can. I asked before if you could just hop on the computer over a support session and you said you would do that.

Thanks,
Ben

Hello, Ben

1) Could you please:
- turn on the StarBurn logging system;
- start your application and reproduce this error;
- send the generated log file to us;

2) Try to update the latest firmware for your drive!

Regards,

Dmitry

We need to start with debug log from failing machine before we'll invest at least valuable time into remote debugging.

I just e-mailed info@rocketdivision.com and support@rocketdivision.com but it is not being sent, "<gdali@rocketdivision.com>: user unknown" Please make sure your e-mail address forwards are working so that people can send e-mails!

Hi

I have sent you a log back in November or December. Please refer to the previous posts: http://www.starburnsoftware.com/forum/starburn-sdk-f3/windows-drive-not-ready-burn-t1984.html I have all the required libraries, have built using sptd and spti, (yes I have the installed sptd layer), Has admin rights, and everything else you instructed in previous posts but I still get this error. It is a brand new windows 7 hp comp and the burner does work (burned in windows media player). I ran through some the sample programs you distribute in the demo sdk download.and all of the starburnX apps throw the same message, but the Starburn Core programs all work fine and the disk burns... so it appears to be isolated in starburnx. This is why I feel it is imperative for you to hop on this computer and see what is happening.

Thank you

We've got your e-mail asking for support but it does not contain any valuable information: there's no debug log there and there's no remote desktop session information either. As we cannot reproduce the issue here I don't see how we can help you. Please provide at least some technical stuff.
