How to create image of a Video CD/DVD?
Is it possible to do so by using Grabber class. What all types of images I can create using Grabber in this newer build?

As Audio disc, I want to create image of the Video CD or DVD also.
I was trying to do that. I saw some of the previous posts discussed in forum. So I think we can create image of those types of discs using Grabber class.

For Audio there will be 2 files one is catalog MDS & other main is XMF.
For Video there will be again 2 files one is catalog MDS & other is MDF.

Am I going in right direction? Correct me if I am wrong.

Yes, you can create MDS/MDF image of AudioCD and burn it later in RAW SAO or RAW DAO mode.

OK. I got it. But how to burn the created MDS/MDF files to an empty disc. I think StarBurnX supports only .iso files to burnt on the discs.
Instead can I create ISO image of Audio or Video CD/DVD discs. I read in Wiki about ISO images, it written that for audio or video discs as multiple tracks are present we cannot create an ISO image of those types of discs.
But I was observing some other softwares they are actually creating ISO image of these types of discs.
Even tried to create an MDS/MDF image of an Video DVD, it did created the image. But along with that .001 , .002, .003 upto .012 other files are also created each of 200 MB. Not in the single application I have seen this to happen.
It would be better if I can create an ISO image of the Audio or Video CD/DVD. Is it possible to do so?

I was observing another softwares those have also created .001 & .002 only 2 files for same disc. So I am getting 12 files by using StraBurnX ?

It's Urgent.

I am having a video DVD disc of which I have created MDS/MDF image.
Disc is of size 5.79 GB.
But output image file what I got is 200 MB. Is the image properly created.
I have done this using my sample application using Grabber class. I was observing StarBurn Application(In the form of Wizards latest one) it is creating ISO image of video disc which works well So why StarBurnX creates MDS/MDF images not creating proper images of Video DVDs.

I want to create ISO image of Video DVDs is it possible.

1) We have added the new method to DVDVideoBurner - SaveImageFile which builds the ISO image file from the source VIDEO_TS.

2) Concerning MDS ... the Grabber class has the property SplitSize - value of this property should be 0 ( if you don't want to split grabbed data)!!

But
2) In DVDVideoBurner, SaveImageFile method is not present
2) I was making SplitSize=0 for object of grabber class. It's not working, Even though it creates splitted temporary files.

Please, Will you just check that once.

May I get a pre-release dll before release so that the functionality I will test & let you know if any problem is there if possible.

No Hurry but want to avoid problems after wards. As your are currently looking into matter, so if any problem will occur you can immediately solve that.

1) We have fixed the "MDS" bug;
2) StarBurnX can burn now the Audio CD Image ( .mds ) usin the ImageBurner class.

1) The v11 is not released, you can download now the patched build.

2) You can not create the VCD (sVCD) image using the StarBurnX. We should extend the VideoCDBurner class to provide requested functionality:(;

3) You should search the VCD(sVCD) specific files(folders) on the disc.

For example:
The required derictories for the sVCD disc are: SVCD, MPEG-2 and EXT

Image creation of Video Discs works well. Thank you again.
A normal deletion problem is there in Image creation of Video DVD's.

While making an ISO image of Video DVD's after aborting this image creation it should automatically delete the partly created iso image like done in Data Disc ISO image creation and Audio CD MDS/MDF image creation.
Will you please kindly look into the problem?
