Gapless mixed mode discs?

Is it possible to create mixed mode discs with StarBurnX, where the audio is gapless?

Also, I have stumbled upon an older topic from 2005 that says

How does that work? I don't see how this is currently possible.

Hello,

You should select the TAO mode and assign "0" value to AudioPauseLength property.

Track-to-track pause size is optional with TAO. It may work if device supports it and may not work. The only guaranteed way to have no pauses between tracks is using DAO (RAW).

Already answered this - use DAO (RAW).

But when I burn the audio as DAO, I cannot any further data to it (which is the purpose of a mixed mode disc). Or is there a way around that?

Good question! Need to check do we actually support mixed-mode CDs in DAO mode or not...
