Erase does nothing?

Hi,

I've got one user where the Erase-Method (StarBurnX, C#, .NET 2.0) does nothing at all apparently, it finishes immediately, though no exceptions. Could you check the log for possible reasons?
I also noticed that the disc capacity is specified as negative value by StarBurn in this case, could that be related?

I'll try to get the latest StarBurn beta tested and let you know of results if possible.

Hello,

Looks strange! Perhaps you have selected a Virtual device or the inserted media is broken? Give me the name of current device !

Also: With latest StarBurnX beta, an error instead occurs:

The disc has been inserted before even starting up the application.

Hello,

Could you try to erase the same disc ( DVD-RW) using the SPTD transport?!

Hm, it doesn't work reliably either, but with SPTD we got one error message and one actual success:

The user also reported

More important though is to get the audio burning right. The issue of this thread seems to be rather rare, but the 1 second audio track issue is a frequent one

Hello

I have similar problem with disc erasing. My beta-tester said to me that my program not erases an DVD-RW discs. I sent him sample DiscEraser.exe, lastest debug version of StarBurn.dll (30.09.2011) and asked make test an full erasing for SPTI and SPTD interfaces.

Logs in attach.
Device - Optiarc DVD RW AD-7203S 1.09 - real, not virtual.
Differences at works for interfaces not detected.
Another burners such as Nero and SmallCDWriter erases fine.

But as I said earlier, other burner make full erasing of DVD-RW fine in any case.

Sorry, Dmitry, I don't use StarBurnX, and StarBurn.dll is old (29.09.2011)
