First of all, you're keeping debug logs as national secret giving us extremely hard times trying to help you.
Second, movie (single session) and data (multisession) DVDs are recorded in different ways (Disc-At-Once and Packet-At-Once if you care). So if your DVD-RW was used for multisession recording it *MUST* be fully erased before doing single session burn on it. And vice versa. This issue was mentioned a couple of times here.
I think that's all...

I tried to make a copy of same movie to a DVD-RW disc and got the
following error :
writing failed, exception 8, status 31, text CStarBurn_scsi
transportASPI:cdbO command failed.
Erased DVD-RW 2X using Nero and made a successful movie once again.
I tried again to erase a DVD-RW disc with Nero and got same error as # showing above.
I then tried to do a full erase of a DVD-RW disc using Nero. I now had a
new movie that was 118 minutes. It took 75 minutes to make a successful
movie using a complete erasure but it just took too long to want to do full
erasing of a DVD-RW disc
starburn 4.9.1 is much more stable than privious release but it seems has problem with DVD-RW disc(need use nero to erease firstly).
please help.
