My question is whether StarBurn API provides burning of data that span’s Multiple CD’s.

For example if my data is of size 900 MB then the API should support writing the data in two CD’s like ejecting the first CD after suppose 600MB is burned on to it and the remaining on the next CD.

Unfortunately - no. You'll have to split your image and burn it chunk-by-chunk to the different media yourself... Sorry for this!

P.S. And I was answering e-mail like this some time ago. Was it also you?

hi Anton,
Thanks 4 the reply and yes that was me who had sentu the e-mail regarding this as it was urgent.
Niways i have some other queries regarding the StarBurn API's,
1] If I have a CD and a DVD drive configured on my machine, does the API detect that? Is there any API to find the number and type of burning devices installed?
2] Does any API detect MIDI \ Combo burner and whether it supports burning a CD and DVD through it?

Yes, take a look at FindDevice and FindDeviceEx samples. They do exactly what you want.

And please use different threads for different questions. As keeping post everything to one creates a great mess. I'm closing this one.

Thanks!
