#1 Burning Software

I'm trying to get the Java samples included with StarBurn SDK 7.1.10 to run (using JDK 6).

I opened a Windows command prompt window in the "StarBurn SDK\Bin\Samples\GUI\Java" folder and tried the following command:

java -jar ScanDevices.jar

This produced an UnsatisfiedLinkError:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no JStarBurn in java.library.path

It seems to be looking for a JStarBurn.dll file. There is a StarBurn.dll file in the folder, so I renamed that to JStarBurn.dll just to see if it makes a difference. Obviously it didn't work after the name change, but it did give a different error, so at least I know it can see the dll (i.e. there's nothing wrong with my java.library.path).

So I guess the SDK is missing a DLL? I could always write my own Java wrappers, but I would really like to use the included wrappers.

Did anyone else get the samples to work?

You're right. DLL is missing. We'll repack it including source code of Java wrapper ASAP. You'd be informed personally. Thank you very much for pointing!
