StarWind 3.5.5 has been released.
Rocket Division Software, Ltd announces immediate availability of the new version of its flagship product StarWind. StarWind is highly advanced software-only iSCSI target for Microsoft Windows family OSes. The new version (3.5.5) of the product introduces number of fixes and improvements to the product. The most important news in this version are:
Core: TcpKeepAlivePeriod config parameter added to allow TCP/IP keep alive feature for iSCSI connections
Core: fixed a problem with loading of Access options after service restart
Core: allowed clustering by default for all target types
Core: removed the old ISID workaround for the MS initiator
Core: fixed the ExpCmdSn increment's behavior in some situations
Core: iSCSI negotiation fixed to allow bigger data packets
Core: added Config parameters for tuning of the iSCSI negotiation

IMG: fixed an issue with online extending of image files
MIR: changed the Online synchronization algorithm
MIR: fixed an issue with memory allocation
IBV: fixed problem with child devices (snapshot-based)
IBV: fixed MaxStoredSessions behavior
IBV: speed up for read requests to data in old journals
IBV: fixed issues with Vmware ESX clients when snapshots happened during large write operations
Control: fixed issues that led to crashes in some situations
